Refunds & cancellations
Last updated: 4 August 2026. This policy covers paid employment consulting engagements with Datadrivendevops for Blue Card employment guidance and application readiness in Germany. It does not cover products, shipping, or software subscriptions—we do not sell those.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to fees paid for consultations, desk reviews, dossier packages, and employer correspondence guidance confirmed in writing. Informational website content is free and not refundable.
Timeframe
Cancel or reschedule by email to info@datadrivendevops.digital at least 48 hours before a scheduled live session for a full refund of that session fee, provided work on your documents has not begun.
Full and partial refunds
- Full refund — cancellation more than 48 hours before a session when no document review has started; or if we cancel and cannot offer a suitable alternative date.
- Partial refund — if a package engagement is stopped after intake but before the final deliverable, we refund the unused portion after deducting work already performed at the agreed rate.
- No refund — no-shows; cancellations inside 48 hours without a medical or comparable documented emergency; work already delivered (readiness briefs, memos, completed dossier indexes).
Deposits
Where a deposit reserves a consultation slot, it is applied to the final fee. Deposits become non-refundable once document review starts or inside the 48-hour window, except when we cancel the session.
Rescheduling
One complimentary reschedule is allowed with at least 48 hours’ notice. Further reschedules may be declined or charged an administrative fee stated in your engagement email.
Work already started
Desk reviews and dossier preparation begin when we confirm receipt of your documents. Fees for completed stages are owed even if you later pause the application.
Materials
We do not purchase certified translations or apostilles on your behalf. Costs you pay directly to translators, universities, or authorities are outside this refund policy.
Process and timing
Email refund requests with your name, engagement date, and reason. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 business days.
